Columbus Children’s Theatre

Camp Public Health
A week-long summer day camp for youth ages 13-17. Campers explore how professionals like doctors, nurses, and epidemiologists protect different populations and promote healthy communities. Participants learn from professionals at Columbus Public Health and Ohio State University College of Public Health.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Athletic Training Workshop
3-day workshop for high school students interested in careers in athletic training, emergency medicine, physical therapy, or other healthcare careers. Buckeye Ranch Bonner Academy – Summer Camp
Students grades 3-12 can have fun while learning social-emotional skills like mindfulness, regulation, conflict resolution, and distress tolerance. Includes field trips to local pools, museums, and more. Free breakfast and lunch is included. Transportation may be available for qualifying families. Provides programs for autistic or neurodivergent individuals on a supportive farm setting. They offer week-long summer day camps.  Jr. Alpaca Camp for ages 6-13 offers sensory art, gardening, and animal interactions. Summer Transition Camp for ages 14+ offers work skills, social development, and resume building.

St. Vincent Family Services – Summer Program
A therapeutic summer experience for children ages 3-12 needing behavioral and social-emotional health support. Children enjoy water play, outdoor games, crafts, and more while receiving behavioral health care in a small group setting to manage their needs and behaviors. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation are provided. Daily attendance is required.
Cost: Services are covered by Medicaid and a variety of insurances. Families may reach out to the organization if additional financial assistance is needed.
